The App sends parsed movie or TV show titles (derived from your file names) to the TMDB API to fetch rich metadata such as posters, backdrops, descriptions, and release dates. No personal information, device identifiers, or file paths are sent. Only the extracted title and year (if available) are transmitted. Fetched metadata is cached locally on your device to minimize network requests.

The App uses the following Firebase services provided by Google:
All app-generated data — including your playback history, preferences, and cached metadata — is stored entirely on your device. This data is private to the App and is not accessible by other applications.
Anonymous analytics and crash data sent to Firebase are stored on Google's servers and handled according to Google's security practices and privacy policy.
Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all locally stored data.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personally identifiable data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
